Liquid Level Floats for Switches & Controls

A level float rests on the liquid surface and rises or falls with the liquid level. It is connected via a rod, thread, or tube to a control mechanism such as a valve or switch. When the float reaches a set height, it activates or deactivates the connected device. Magnet-integrated floats can trigger reed switches for contactless, precise level detection.

A floating level refers to the real-time position of a float on a liquid surface, which corresponds directly to the current liquid level in a tank or vessel.
