SIZES
Round float balls:
Currently stocked sizes include:
1-1/2”, 2”, 3”, 3-1/2”, 4”, 5”, 6”, 8”, 10”, 12”, 14”.
Oblong floats:
Currently stocked sizes:
- 7 x 12” with ¾” NPT
- 7 x 16” with ¾” NPT
- 2 x 6” with ¼-20
- 3 x 5” with 1/4-20
- 3 x 6 with ¼-20
- 3-1/2 x 12 with ¼-20
- 3-1/2 x 20-1/2 with ¼-20
- 9 x 14” with ¾” NPT

THREADS and FITTINGS
We stock a number of sizes with threads, through tubes and other fittings and can customize any size with any fitting to meet your requirements.
Threads (common sizes):
- 6” with 1/4-20, 3/8-16, 1/4 NPT, 3/8 NPT
- 8” with 3/8 NPT, 1/2 NPT, 5/8-11 UNC
- 12” with 3/4 NPT
- 14” with 3/4 NPT
Through tubes (common sizes):
- 5” with tube to fit 3/8” rod
- 6” with tube to fit 3/8, 1/2 and 5/8” rod
- 8” with tube to fit 1/2, 5/8, 3/4” rod
- 9” with tube to fit 3/4” rod
- 10” with tube to fit 1/2” rod
- 12” with tube to fit 1/2” rod
Magnets
We source magnets and assemble them inside the float balls when required.
Materials
Our most common material used is 304ss followed by 316ss.
Other materials are available if required.
Finishes
Our unfinished ball is the matte type finish of regular stainless steel, with a visible weld ring around the diameter of the float.
We can offer a brushed finish, where the weld seam is polished smooth, but it is not a complete mirror finish.
Or we can offer a fully polished ball whereby the ball has a mirror finish.
Pressure Testing
We have equipment available to pressure test the floats. If you have a higher than normal pressure requirement, we can test the floats to meet your specifications.
